| Renewing Your Architectural Firm |

|
Once your architectural firm is registered with the Oregon Board, you must renew the firm annually. Firm renewals are due by January 31st each year, and include a $100 renewal fee, along with completion of a firm renewal. Firm renewals that are not received in the Board office or complete beyond 30 days after the deadline require an additional $100 late fee (total of $200 to renew the firm). No firm may renew if a complete application, including the appropriate fees, is not received in the Board office more than 60 days after the deadline (about April 1st each year-dependent upon leap years). After all grace periods have passed, firms that have not renewed will be placed in forfeited status and the firm may no longer practice architecture under the firm name. After that time, a new firm application, fees, and all supporting documentation must be sent to the Board office to have the Board again consider granting active registration and placing that firm in active status. The practice of architecture is only allowed under a firm name that has an active registration at the Board office. Disciplinary action may result from violation of title and practice rules and laws. |
